The Long-term Effect of Neurofeedback Therapy as Adjuvant Therapy on the Management of Tinnitus: A Prospective Clinical Trial

Background: Recently, various studies have been performed to examine the effect of neurofeedback on treating tinnitus. However, these reported different results. In this process, nervous activity patient is evaluated. For example, aspects associated with brain processes are extracted through temporal processing signs, and then auditory or visual feedback given person. Objectives: The present study investigates sessions Materials & Methods: clinical trial study, 30 patients tinnitus who met inclusion criteria were included. They referred otorhinolaryngology clinic Azahra Kashani hospitals in Isfahan City, Iran. underwent 20 examined at time intervals before intervention 1, 3, 5 months after intervention. To evaluate patients, we used handicap inventory analog scale. changes VAS THI data times, repeated measure ANOVA test was utilized. significance level considered less than 0.05. analysis SPSS V. 24. Results: Five intervention, (P<0.001) scale scores significantly improved. Also, no complication resulting from use observed patients. Conclusion: Usage as adjuvant therapy could be an effective treatment suffer
